12/25/2020. Day 1

• 12.30 pm. Meeting at the Esquel Airport. From there we will go to Cabañas El Chaltén, where we will spend our first night in Patagonia. We will make the general presentation of the Expedition, equipment review, safety talk and rules to follow throughout the expedition.
• 20:00 hs. Welcome dinner.
12/26/2020. Day 2
• 06:00 am. Breakfast in the cabin. Trip to the Carreleufu River. Preparation of kayaks and equipment.
• 2:00 p.m. Beginning of the navigation on the Carreleufu River. This river of emerald colored waters, with a total length of 27 km, will require a good part of the day until it reaches its mouth at Lake Rivadavia. We will have lunch in one of the bends of the river and then continue the navigation through Lake Rivadavia to the north portal of Los Alerces National Park. Here we will camp to spend our second night.
12/27/2020. Day 3
• 08:00 am. Breakfast.
• 11:00 am. Departure to the Rivadavia River, we will travel almost 10 km more along the homonymous Lake, sailing in the shelter of its bays and its rocky coasts and lush vegetation. We will have lunch at the head of the Lake with a privileged view of the Cordón Rivadavia and the immensity of the place. Then, we will begin the navigation of the Rivadavia River, internationally recognized fishing for its scenic beauty and for its specimens of Rainbow trout. The descent of this river will take us all afternoon. We will have to face 12 km of slides, submerged logs and, in some cases, we will have to carry our kayaks along the shore. At the end of the day we will enter the small Green Lake. There we will camp the third night of our journey.
12/28/2020. Day 4
• 08:00 am. Breakfast. 11:00 hs. Beginning of the Green Lake Navigation. We will cross the lake to Puerto Mermoud and from there to the source of the Arrayanes River. This river will surprise us with the clarity of its waters to such an extent that we will navigate almost the entire route seeing its bottom. We will have lunch at its mouth, just before entering the North Branch of Lake Futalaufquen. From there they will wait for us almost 15 kilometers to reach Krugger Lake, after crossing the Strait of Monsters. They say that this narrow became famous because trout weighing up to 12 kilos have been caught in it. In the refuge of Lake Krugger, built all with cypress wood, we will spend our fourth night enjoying comfortable shared rooms with private bathroom and a special dinner due to the warmth of the attention and direct view of the lake. In the event that the refuge is not enabled, we will camp according to the indications of National Parks.
12/29/2020. Day 5
• 8:00 am Breakfast. After breakfast we will visit the sources of the Frey River in a Trekking of almost 5 km. crossing reed beds and forests of Grandes Coihues. Upon our return we will get our kayaks ready to face the last day of the trip. It will be more than 10 km paddling through Lake Krugger until you reach Lake Futalaufquen. Finally we will travel the last kilometers of the southern arm of Lake Futalaufquen until we reach Punta Mattos where the support vehicle will be waiting for us. Transfer to Esquel. Accommodation in Esquel at Cabañas El Chaltén. Farewell dinner.
